Cooperative Care Training
(For Grooming & Veterinary Care)
All dogs need regular grooming and veterinary care. Whether trimming nails, cleaning ears, brushing, or, for some dogs, more involved grooming that includes clipping and scissoring the coat, all dogs need regular veterinary care to stay healthy and active throughout their lives. Unfortunately, some dogs are less than cooperative, and some are even aggressive when grooming or veterinary procedures are attempted. This can limit their care and lead to health issues that could have been avoided.
Cooperative Care Training involves teaching your dog to trust and be calm when being groomed or when veterinary care is needed. Cooperative Care Training teaches dogs to be relaxed and willing participants in their care, leading to no more stress, better care, and better lives.
